The Darklab PowerBolt II Plus from FK Irons provides an even longer battery life, up to 3 hours longer than the PowerBolt II depending on usage.

The PowerBolt II Plus by Darklabs/FK Irons is a refined version of the original model, designed to offer a user-friendly experience to tattoo artists. It features a new in-house motherboard with the latest technology and extra layers of electronic safety protection.
With its OLED digital display and updated touchpad, the PowerBolt II Plus provides an intuitive interface for artists to view and access various settings. The battery offers 8 hours of battery life and is charged via USB-C (cable included). To avoid charging issues, we recommend using the included charger or one of equal quality.

Through the PowerBolt II Plus's display screen and improved touchpad, tattoo artists can view and access the menu to cycle through and adjust a variety of settings without using the Darklab app. Settings such as:

Using hertz (Hz), volts (v) or both to adjust the speed of your machine
Changing the voltage in 0.1 or 0.5 V increments
Activating Bluetooth 5.0 to wirelessly connect your Killswitch footswitch by Darklab
Setting a timer to track how long you have been tattooing
Adjusting the screen orientation, making it suitable for left or right-handed tattoo artists.
Turning on the "killswitch" feature that ensures the device cannot be turned on. An important feature for artists travelling around the world.
Adjusting eGive with 4 settings to choose from: 0 to disable the feature, 1 for a hard hit, 2 for a medium hit and 3 for a soft hit.
The device will detect the tension of the cartridges in use, and execute a calculation to guarantee that the eGive corresponds to the level selected.

The PowerBolt II Plus offers a wider voltage range (4-12 V) than its predecessor, with the ability to use a low voltage of 4 V for styles like stippling.
