The Spektra Edge X is the first completely versatile cartridge machine.

The machine features the reinvented (patent pending) MultiVise System which allows you to use both conventional backstem and screw-on style cartridge grips without the need for adapters.

With the Edge X you are able to change the stroke from 2.8 to 4.2 mm with variable options in between.
Easy on the fly give adjustments can be done by small increments to suit your needs. Exclusive for the Spektra Edge X is the ability to go from no give to full give with just one full turn of the dial.

It's pivoting stainless steel Drive Bar will work with Darklab's RPG Cartridge Grips, both disposable and autoclavable versions, and the Hawk screw-on adjustable grips from Cheyenne.
The Drive Bar pivots on its end joint and self-aligns with the cartridge module when the machine is turned on. This stabilized the bar and needle without causing additional friction or noise.

Self-lubricating slider reduces friction and wear and prolongs the life of the parts. The Ball Bearing Slider Stabilizer ensures accurate glide of the slider while also reducing friction and noise for a smooth performance.

Patented Hex Drive mechanism allows the motor to be detached while cancelling axial load on the shaft. The Hex Drive MotorBolt is interchangeable with the Direkt and Direkt 2.

The frame of the Edge X is CNC crafted from one solid rod of 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminium, mirror polished and available in 7 different colours.
